About Eve Foundation

The Tea Bagan Run is organised by the Eve Foundation, a UK-registered charity dedicated to uplifting women and young people.

Their mission is to unlock opportunities, initiatives, and programs that help women and children subsist, grow, and thrive.

They are committed to addressing inequalities in health, education, and economic independence, whilst fostering community cohesion.

Eve wants to ‘see a world where harmonised voices amplify the dreams and aspirations of women and children across the globe.’

The cause - Hawa Hospital

Eve Foundation recognises health inequality as a significant issue in Bangladesh, particularly in maternal health and believes that every mother and child deserve access to quality healthcare.

However, Vulnerable mothers often have little to no access to healthcare, leading many to deliver their babies at home with no pain relief and without any medical assistance. This has resulted in thousands of preventable deaths for both mother and child.

By participating in the Tea Bagan Run you will contribute to raising vital funds for the construction of the very first free specialist maternity hospital in Sylhet. Imagine the impact when thousands of women will have access to safe high-quality maternal care which will in turn dramatically reduce the risks associated with childbirth.

Your participation is not just about running; it’s about starting a legacy of hope and celebration. With every mile, you are helping to ensure that mothers can deliver their babies safely and surrounded by skilled medical professionals.
